I have just got back from the Christmas Running Holiday organised by Sarah and Steve. Wow! It was absolutely incredible. The location is idyllic and accommodation in really spacious, traditionally decorated apartments is of a very high standard. The organised runs in the hills of Andalucia are jaw droppingly beautiful. They ranged from 14 to 21 miles and had plenty of elevation gain to provide enough of a challenge. What is special and unique about Ultra Trail Spain is the wonderful way that Sarah and Steve take care of their runners. They clearly love what they do. Their attention to detail is superb - from providing very regular check points with drinks and a range of snacks, to making sure that every single person feels totally comfortable running at their own individual pace. In a way they treat you like family. Now that I am home I can't wait to book a return visit.
