Situated in a stunning mountain-top location, this Multi-Day Training Camp offers you the chance to experience focused event preparation, on quiet unspoilt trails in the mountains and forests of rural Spain. Whether you are training for a specific multi-day race like Marathon De Sables (MDS), Al Andalus Ultimate Trail (AAUT), any of the 4 Deserts Race Series (i.e. the Gobi March) or the iconic Cape Wrath Ultra or simply looking for a training camp in an inspirational setting, under the sunshine and with like-minded people, this camp is for you. Lead by experienced ultra runners, Steve & Sarah (alongside our support team), the camp is for anyone who wants to develop their multi-day running endurance, build technique and improve their running performance. Topics covered include race strategy, equipment, nutrition and in-race care. Coached sessions take place on awe-inspiring trails with epic views across the Sierra Nevada. Due to the proximity of this camp, you may also benefit from low-altitude training. Ultra Trail Spain's Multi-Day Ultra Runner's camp is ideal for individuals, as well as friends or couples. All abilities are welcome.

Our Multi-Day Ultra Runner's camp will concentrate on building endurance and trail running technique for longer events. Daily runs over a variety of terrain help you develop both ascending and descending skills as well as distance, vital for multi-day endurance events. Dedicated drills and conditioning sessions are scheduled around daily runs to allow adequate recovery time. Each day also includes informal discussions on a variety of specific multi-day event topics, including training ideas for you to incorporate into your own training plan. We use a variety of charmingly appointed and characterful apartments. Situated in refurbished historical buildings and located in the heart of the village, apartments have spectacular views, easy access to trail heads, and are close to local amenities including bars and village shop. You'll be staying in a true Spanish rural retreat.
We take rooms on a multiple occupancy basis, however, there is no additional charge for single occupancy. Please let us know at time of booking.

The cuisine of Andalucia is simple and tasty, making use of what is seasonal and locally available. Please advise of any special dietary requirements at time of booking.
Breakfast - You will be provided with a 'breakfast starter pack'. Typical items include: locally baked bread, olive oil, jamon, eggs, yoghurt, seasonal fruit, tea & coffee.
Picnic lunches - Ultra Trail Spain serves picnic style lunches. The meal typically includes: seasonal salad, hot soup (during cooler months), cheese or chorizo and other traditional meats and fruit.
Evening meal - Your evening meal is not included. You should budget around 9 to 15 euros if eating at a local bar or restaurant. You may choose to cook your own in your apartment, where kitchen facilities are available. Typical bar/ restaurant meals include: tortilla, patatas a lo pobre, spicy prawns, pork and garlic, paella.
Non-running companions are welcome to accompany you. Please contact us and we can advise on the cost of accommodation and breakfast only.
Flights, travel insurance, evening meal, extra snacks and drinks are not included in the price.
Just had fantastic week with Steve and Sarah in Andalucia. I had a perfectly tailored program that pushed me hard but was exactly what I wanted. They both ran with me each day and organised everything down to the last detail. The accommodation was perfect - simple but very comfortable. I ate breakfast at the accommodation and the evening meal in one of several local restaurants which was always great food. Lunch was a picnic or packed lunch dependent on the running schedule. The area is stunning and provides endless options for beautiful trails of varying difficulty. Steve and Sarah have a great local knowledge and every day was a different route. I can't really rate this trip highly enough. I had never met Steve or Sarah prior to going but have definitely made new friends and 100% will be going back to train with them in the future.
